Peer assessment develops the ability of students to make independent judgements by involving them in commenting on and judging other students' work. It is commonly a part of group work in which a variety of assessment methods are undertaken as a group assignment to develop students' teamwork skills and/or enable students to undertake larger tasks than could be done by an individual. Peer assessment has a vital role to play in formative assessment, but it can also be used as a component in a summative assessment if carefully implemented.
As our course is transparent since we all have access to each others information and tasks/assignments, The Peer assessment is also part of a transparent online education.
We developed a questionnaire where we focus the evaluation in 5 areas:
1. Annotated bibliography
2. Learning objects
3. Learning objects review
4. Forums discussion
5. General comment
We tried to cover everything we thought being important to evaluate our colleagues (and ourselves) throughout the course.
Each of us has a questionnaire that you can see below. The colleagues that are going to evaluate (check the table) only need to click the link to the questionnaire and submit their answers.
The results of each questionnaire will be available on the correspondent Excel sheet. Professor Morten has access to check all the results. In the spreadsheets the answers are anonymous. Professor Morten only sees the final results.

Table 1 - Check who you are going to evaluate
Please note: The table above shows all the class students. The first column is listed in alphabetical order and the second column was obtained through the first, making a bottom-up shift. Each evaluator has to evaluate the three colleagues listed in the second column of the same row, e.g.:
Carlos Mouta Raposo will evaluate Helena Prieto , Joaquim Lopes and José Carlos Figueiredo;
Joaquim Lopes will evaluate Luís Rodrigues , Marco Freitas and Maria de Lurdes Martins and so on. Please do not evaluate other coleagues other than the assigned ones.
